Wines from world-renown chateaux of Bordeaux – including Latour, Margaux, Mouton Rothschild, Gruard Larose, Malescot St Exupery, and Lynch Bages – nestle with the best wines of Central Otago and New Zealand in the professionally managed, temperature-controlled wine cellar servicing the Bordeau Wine Lounge.

Our five featured winemakers will share their exceptional vintages, offering guests the rare chance to experience side-by-side tastings. Each winemaker will highlight the distinct qualities that set their wines apart, creating a captivating journey through Central Otago’s unique terroir.

Our Executive Chef, Trent Watson, has masterfully crafted dishes to complement the winemakers’ selections, ensuring that every pairing brings out the best in both the food and the wine. Guests will savor a total of twelve exquisite wines throughout the evening, featuring vintages from RipponFelton RoadQuartz ReefProphets Rock, and guest winery Ata Rangi.

The food was excellent, the view from our table remarkable, the service impeccable. But the wine service stood out above all. Ashish, the sommelier, set a high bar for wine service, rivaling the chateaux of Bordeaux and the castellos of Tuscany.
